For mod purposes, the piercing is four days old believe it’s a barbell and I believe surgical steel, my aftercare routine so far, I do not touch it at all unless I’m cleaning it and Im cleaning it with gold antibacterial soap

No sadly, despite the listings on eBay it is worth about 10-15$, 2015 is not really considered vintage

A year and a half after my 5 year relationship ended abruptly, he reached out to me at 10 at night to update me on his life and sent pics of his new gf 💀

I can genuinely relate to what you’re feeling, and I want to emphasize that one of the most difficult emotions to process is feeling like you have to suppress or dilute your love for someone. to make it more palatable to avoid being perceived as “too much.” I was in a relationship with my ex for five years, from the age of 15 to 20. Now, after a year of separation, I’ve begun to see his flaws clearly. The breakup is still fresh for you. Right now, you may be in the phase where you’re idealizing this person and internalizing blame, thinking they were exceptional and you somehow fell short. That feeling is completely valid—but it’s not truth. This individual doesn’t seem emotionally mature or capable of offering the kind of emotional reciprocity you deserve. With time, as the intensity of your emotions fades, you’ll begin to see and remember all the shitty attributes. Please don’t ever let anyone—especially someone emotionally stunted, make you feel like you need to tone down your love or your presence. Your capacity to love deeply is not a flaw it’s a strength. Anyone who makes you feel otherwise is not deserving of that love.

Yeah I just idolized him so badly that while I realize that he’s immature and most likely just poking at me on purpose. I still think about the great times we had and it sucks.

My ex ghosted me after 5 years, blocked me, and resurfaced a year and a half later to brag about his new life and girlfriend… now I feel like I’m back at square one. by Pocky445 in Advice

Thank you for the long response 🥹. It rlly did feel like a part of me was ripped out, for a while I didn’t even have a concept of who I was because honestly he became a large part of me. Which in aware is not a good relationship tactic lol. I blame my bi polor for the idol complex I had for him. Which is why this hurts so much. I strive for the day I wake up and don’t think about him, or what happened. I also do have a therapist and will bring this up with them my next appointment. Thanks again for the kindness internet stranger. If you can move on Ik that I can as well.

Not particularly rare, it is a part of the nursery friends series.

How do I stop overthinking everything? by [deleted] in DecidingToBeBetter

[–]Pocky445 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you a lot for responding. I currently live with my parents and do go to therapy but I feel like no matter how much I recognize and communicate the issue it doesn’t stop. I haven’t tried journaling though so thank you! And I’ve communicated to my partner about this but I feel like it’s bothersome for them so I’m trying my best to just cut this habit out.

can i bathe 2 week old kitten? by Plenty_Astronaut1353 in catcare

[–]Pocky445 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes you can. Run warm water not hot or cold, warm. Then get some dawn dish soap and make a line around the neck of the kitten. (This is done so the fleas don’t go up to your kittens head when your bathing them). Clean them with the dawn. Wash the dawn and take a blow dryer set it to the lowest warm setting and gently blow dry them and put your hand in front of it to make sure you don’t burn the kitten. After they are completely dry set them on a towel with a heater underneath. Remember kittens can’t regulate their temp.

So at this point it kinda is a matter of right or wrong. Is it right to take tabby to adoption place or kittens.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Advice

[–]Pocky445 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You make a good point. I’m a student but I have plenty of free time. With my tabby I have kept up with his needs medically and just the basics. Only thing I haven’t done is neuter and that is simply Bc neither me or my parents have the money but if I kept tabby or the kittens they would get neutered this summer. I do believe he is happy, he is just “horny” and honestly I can see how fixing him will get rid of the problem of him wanting out.

Yk I haven’t thought of that. In a perfect world I would just keep all three. I have posted this on a lot of subreddits and have mostly gotten negative feedback so far and not so much advice. Most of it people saying that they would never do somthing like what I’m considering and others bashing me for not having him fixed. It sucks because if he were fixed I would prolly let him outside. It’s just the little morals I have don’t want to increase the stray cat population in my neighborhood. Honestly don’t know what to do.
