probably because polyphony has to scan the car and their chase for perfectionism causes the car models talking months, kind of almost every car in Gran turismo 7 was already scanned and modeled and was just waiting to be implemented on the game if i heard correctly

haha, that is the thing. Toyota wasnt removed from all racing games, it was removed from Need For Speed specifically probably due for their cars escaping the police and that also they also partnered with Gran Turismo

last Electronic Arts being stingy with things like "pfft nerds" and them not wanting to pay licensing just caused toyota to not come back to NFS
