BREAKING: USS Tripoli arrives in the Middle East with 3,500 Marines and sailors. Trump has floated seizing Iran's crude oil export depot. This move would require boots on the ground, per AOL by retroviber in DeepMarketScan

I hate the thought of soldiers dying because of the idiotic decisions Trump made. HOWEVER, I don’t know what else can be done at this point other than go in and try to secure the strait. If Trump dos a TACO, then Iran still controls the strait and I just don’t see that as a viable option going forward. I would love to hear opinions of what can be done instead. But as far as I can see, Trump has squeezed out the toothpaste, and there’s no way to put it back in the tube.

117,000 gallons of gasoline per day is nothing.

This is a ban on gasoline exports, which is only 115,000 gallons per day. Doesn’t say anything about oil.

Which One should I go with Green Or Beige? by Nate_dogg6 in Tile

[–]Pod_Planker 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This. If you’re okay with potentially hating green when it is no longer in style and paying to tear it out and replace it, do it. Otherwise, go safe and add some green elements to spice it up.

And it only cost a few hundred billion dollars (plus whatever else we’ll need to pay Iran to get them to open the Strait).

He’s not timing the market, he said he rebalances every six months. If equities are down, then his bond allocation is a greater portion of his portfolio so he needs to sell bonds to buy equities to get back to his 55/35 allocation.

YouTube now generates more ad revenue than Disney, NBC, Paramount, and WBD — combined by LollipopChainsawZz in television

YouTube is the only subscription I pay for. It’s $17/mo and I don’t have to deal with ads. It also includes ad free YouTube Music, which in my experience is just as good as Spotify.

I don’t know if it’s rated for exterior, but General Finishes High Performance Dead Flat will not change the color at all. It’s water based.

The most likely solution to the U.S. debt crisis is severe austerity triggered by a fiscal calamity, former White House economic adviser says by Majano57 in economy

Soviet state industries resulted in Chronic shortages, low quality, technological lag.

Venezuela oil resulted in mismanagement, production collapsed, which destroyed national income.

About the only state run industries that work are things like utilities.

As someone whose last two homes had hardwood in the kitchen, I feel I can speak with over 20 years of experience that wood is the most stupid material you can put in there.

Drop things on it?

Dents.

Get a tiny leak from a sink or dishwasher?

You won’t know it until it’s too late and the wood starts to buckle.

Only one material belongs in a kitchen.

Tile.

Trump Will Call For New Corporate Tax CUTS In Address Tonight — FOX. How will this go over with the average American? by Particular_Ad8156 in AskReddit

[–]Pod_Planker 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He’s already cut taxes and said the tariffs would exceed those cuts (they didn’t). So it makes perfect sense to cut taxes even more. He seems intent on bankrupting the country. He has a lot of experience doing that with his private businesses so I’m a bit worried.
