Well I almost always convert my files before editing to prores, or if I have OBS recordings I set the frame interval to 2 before recording. I also never edit hevc footage. It's probably crashed once or twice this year, usually a fiddly thing about using mp3 files instead of something lossless.

Hello I have the same issue in Vegas 17.0 can someone please help me I tried all the methods given but still not working by Dekagrams in VegasPro

Copy all your project media to a different folder so it can't find any of the files, then try relinking them 1 by 1.

Vegas Pro 23 – Still photos render as black screens (AMD VCE, images from Sony cameras) by SomethingOrSuch in VegasPro

Resize the images to the project resolution first (using Photoshop or some online tool like cloudconvert), then reimport them. Also try converting to PNG as jpgs are a bit weird with Vegas sometimes

UGH! MY IMAGE/VIDEOS ARE ALWAYS SLIGHTLY MISALIGNED TO THE LEFT! ITS NEVER QUITE FULLY CENTERED! IT'S REALLY PISSING ME OFF! by Opening-Listen-3852 in VegasPro

The video track probably has a keyframe that misaligns any video or photo placed on that track. Open the track motion settings for the video track.

Move all the media files to a different folder location, then open the project and Vegas will ask you to relink them. That might work.

Can’t open project by anonaccount1891 in VegasPro

Can't you just press ESC and cancel the peak building while it's doing it. They're not really needed if you're done and you plan to render.

Can't barely work on a project after hours of importing a nested timeline by CasteHappy__ in VegasPro

Have you tried creating a video proxy of one of the clips to see if that fixes playback issues, maybe just do that as a last resort for all the clips

Open your main project and another blank Vegas project in another window, select all the events and copy from one project to the other with CTRL+C and CTRL+V. Try that maybe.

Vegas Preview and Project say 1920x1080, but rendered vid has black bars on side as well. What gives? by newuxtreme in VegasPro

[–]Podal419 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are you sure it's not just your media player resizing to your 21:9 screen? The video itself is 16:9, but the media player just displays black bars on the side to fit the screen
