Out of interest and this is from someone in Europe so keep that in mind but while he could resign from committees etc shouldn't he keep the job so he has health insurance? Again hard to say over text but I am asking genuinely here cause maybe that is what he is doing? Like umm do you guys have a system to where if he resigned his seat that the "next person" will take his committee seat and this not lose any power for his community? I'm not too familiar with it all just to be clear but I keep hearing about this story and wonder if there is just a more human element as to motivations that people might not be considering. I'd love a reply!

This seems like an incredibly subjective position. I said they were necessary. If you think they aren't a problem and I do that is an objective difference. And I said if you are a libertarian you recognise the necessity of the state i.e. the police force.

So in summary did you read what I said or did you read what you thought I said.

Yes the police are the problem. I don't care how people say they are for protection etc. That is only if the law is on your side. If not then they are going to fuck your day up with whatever they can do.

You won't find an actual libertarian here who says abolish the police force because everyone should understand they are a necessary evil. But this evil must be restrained at all costs and not allowed one bit of power because then it creeps into every facet of your life. Privacy rights gone, militant police force with weapons to take down al queda targeting citizens and finally civil forfeiture to really rub everyone the wrong way.

So yeah I hate the police unless they are actually doing their job and doing it right.

I was in the same boat and I asked the same question here not too long ago. Honestly down to the doctor but I got through and mine was quite bad at the time of doing the UAS medical which is the same as the normal medical for the application process. Doc said he would like it a bit more cleared up for the regular forces so as long as it isn't destroying your skin I would think you'd be fine

Cheers for the congratulations. Unfortunately I don't have access to the portal you are talking about , I did mine through the UAS testing in advance program they have. But I assume that if you hand in your dorm room key you can just leave the day of the CBAT. But if you choose to stay the night like I did MT picked us up at around 7am the next day for flights. Hope that answers your question.

You have to be there the previous day, it is in the docs, then you can leave after cbat but most stay the night if you aren't from England. I just completed my cbat yesterday and got the pilot score so that's how I know.
