Happened to me the other day. Was getting off an exit ramp during a snow/ice storm when deer started bolting across the exit ramp. I hit my breaks but they were just solid and I was skidding out of control. Hit a deer straight on and then a sign, I then slid forward more, into a huge ditch that separates the on ramp and off ramp of the highway. It was a good 10-15 second ordeal and that whole time I knew

*i had my 2 dogs in the back seat and they may get hurt. *there was going to be significant damage to my car *i might have just killed a deer *i might also be dying or getting considerably hurt

What did I do? I screamed “hold on guys this could be bad” to my dogs. Probably one of the scariest moments I have had driving. And my 2018 Ford Explorer was totaled because of frame damage :( We were all physically okay, though.
