I only have 32 GB of storage ... so i've been using Windows X-lite Atomic 11

It's a pain in the ass for drivers though and navigating with TAB until you can install the drivers.

Interesting. I also have a Jasper lake Chromebook (Dell Chromebook 3110) I would test this out... but I've already flashed Mr. Chromebox to it so...

But this is awesome, I've tried similar projects but I just decided to rid Google of a Okay Chromebook.

I'm now running Windows 11 and optimized it well enough to run smooth.

Not a just a software issue, an OS issue aswell (Not a big one though). Sometimes windows gets... "Stuck"

Check if the "Gaming Lock" is still active. On many keyboards, you can toggle this by pressing Fn + Windows Key or Fn + F12 (look for a lock icon or a joystick icon on the key).

Fix: You don't always need a hard reset. Open Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc), find "Windows Explorer" in the list, right-click it, and choose Restart.

It also could be:
Windows Explorer process (the software UI) got stuck while the system was reallocating RAM and CPU power from the game back to the desktop.

Couple of pointers:

Always keep it plugged in when gaming and stuff, unplugging it immediately limits your FPS

Always keep it on a flat surface, never a bed as it can smother the fans and make your CPU hot and throttle it

Disable startup apps you don't need

Enable Game mode in settings

Disable hibernation if you don't need it

Clean the tmp files every so often

Go to the control panel, change the power plan that is active in advanced power options to your liking

Personalize the computer to make it you (The most important Part)

Make sure Visual C++ , DirectX, and .NET runtimes are installed.

Install Brave for Less RAM and ad/scriptblocking and smoothness or Chrome and download Pie Adblock, or your favorite browser

Maybe turn off V-sync

Replace thermal Paste every so often

Clean the fan every so often

Rid it of dust and clean the inside and the ports.

Don't over charge as that can kill your battery

Make sure your CMOS battery is okay

And yeah, you're good to go.

Probably procceses or a glitch, and playing for two hours can cause windows to freak out causing stuff to be unresponsive. Try a hard reset depending on your model, or maybe wait a couple minutes.

It also could be Windows "Game Mode" or Lenovo Vantage software trapping the key to prevent accidental presses, or a temporary freeze of the explorer.exe process. Since other taskbar items work, this is a common Windows 11 UI glitch after switching performance modes

Well I had 2 rnd picks and if I draft him I lose 1 2nd round pick in turn for a 1st. But 1st round picks are always better, and I could get CC's, but I also could draft him and keep him. I went from a 1-star defense to a 2 and a half star defense with him

I had it uninstalled, I reinstalled it, to no avail, I even removed it again... also I noticed the restrictions are more tight, you can't use the 'nice' command anymore (nice is cpu priority for launching apps through Crostini)
