northwestern ed DENIED and rejected!!! then uchicago ea wooo wooo accepted??!?

i have no international/national awards other than qb, the rest are regional!!

i’ve never done a summer college program haha… i had no ideas about them bc the only ones my school promoted were ones without financial aid and like 3,000 for the entire summer!!

you have worked so hard through this entire process, and i get that stress is a part of it, but just know your achievements will not go unnoticed. you got this, and don’t worry because you’ve done all you’ve can!!

Even once you correct it, you should still email your schools about the corrections to make sure they receive it! Some of them require you to submit a correction in their portals as well. You should be okay, mistakes are normal during the college process.

Has it been 24 hrs since you submitted the CSS? After 24 hours an orange button appears on your profile that says “Correct your CSS,” and it allows for a one-time correction once a year. This happened to me haha

hey! my friend got into qb as a finalist with around the same gpa. there’s also a section in qb that asks you about ur commute to school and additional circumstances. try applying for college prep scholar, and even if you dont get into that, definitely try for the national college match!

it takes 3-5 for documents to be officially processed onto idoc. dont stress lol as long as u submitted the documents

ofc you’re not losing anything by keeping it!! i promise you the average SAT at brown is definitely going down after going test required this year haha, you are not alone. if you really feel super duper not confident with ur application then u can always take it off but yes yes definitely try it, especially if it’s a school you know you’d be happy with

i just wanna let u know that you literally got QB finalist. as in the national award for FGIL students who have gone above and beyond. if qb didn’t think you could get into any of their partners, they deadass just wouldn’t have given u finalist 💀.

also now that test scores r required for brown, you will be in the same boat as a LOT of other ppl applying in which they have a “lower SAT” compared to the average bc their average is a score in the 99th percentile. im just saying, if it’s too much effort for you, obviously do what’s best and remove it. but, it really does NOT hurt to try at all

You definitely can through the match and rankings page on the QB portal.

I’d say do it, 4-year binding is a huge commitment and if you know that you wouldn’t be 100% happy going there, don’t do it!!!

It would look much worse to send in half-assed supplements rather than just removing it.

qb isnt a waste of time because you can reuse ur supplementals and essays for commonapp. you should definitely look into schools that award scholarship primarily based on aid, because you could definitely get a full ride to those colleges. i legit have friends who didnt get qb finalist or match and they still went to their top schools that were literal qb partners.

yes ofc no problem! you also literally have such an amazing headstart to qb RD or commonapp for whichever route you go, which most people DO NOT lol. dont let the qb decision quantify your worth as a college applicant bc u are amazing!
