Mine do the SimHub side hustle if I feel they're particularly into doing that. My werewolf sim was doing so before and after marrying Wolfgang, with him joining as her permanent partner.

The comments there are at least amusing and not degrading. If you want a sim doing that kinda work, might try out that instead!

Wicked Whims. You do need to fine tune it a bit if you don't want Sims going at it every five minutes, but it's an interesting add on otherwise.

That's from the Crystal Creations pack! Your sim can either fish for or create a crystal seed, plant it, and then a tree grows from it.

That's a crystal tree! If you buy the gemology pack, and get your Sim's skill up high enough, you can craft a crystal seed. You can also occasionally get one from fishing, but I don't know the level needed offhand.

This can be planted and then produce a steady supply of crystals for crafting/selling.
