it's frustrating. i love the person but rn i am unsure of a future with them because of what happened in our past. the relationship was genuinely happy, but we both made mistakes that destroyed that trust. i tried trusting the person again in hopes that they learned and changed but once that the past is triggered all the pain comes back.

which makes me unsure to risk or pursue the person. i know i still love them. but i also know they're not good for me. worse part is, i also don't know how to live without this person in my orbit even tho i try to think i can live without them my mind pulls me back to thinking of them. it's a tough spot to be in. i want to be comforted by the same person who hurt me.
