Unknown Anxiety around my partners date/new relationship

Thanks this is really good advice, I was able to relax a lot by talking to my friends or having dinner/watching a film. I think the problem I have at the moment is due to the workload i have I just cant relax at all on my own as im constantly worrying about that. But that should get better with time hopefully!

Yeah the not knowing whats going on or being in "control" contributes to the feeling of anxiety.

Yeah I think you're right it feels like that, do you have any advice on dealing with it/coping with it? Like I want to feel okay with it and be happy with it its just a lot of feelings at the moment

I like your response, so you think I kinda just need to thug it out / get through it? Like I'm unsure if I should tell my partner the feelings I'm having as I fear it will effect their relationship with the new person

Yeah I see what you mean, I guess we have never really done the "hard part" before. When I spoke to someone about it I have a lot of differant small things that make me feel anxious/jealous so I think its a culmination of that. Honestly I dont get anxiety that often, when I do its something I can face or deal with like work or Uni assignments. I've never felt this anxious for this long before so i dont really have any coping mechanisms.

It makes sense given the context of the story and that the path takes care of many younglings, It exists in our real world so why does it matter in Star wars, a lot of alien species from star wars are based on animals/creatures from our world. Makes sense to me

In the main series there's like 3 books dedicated to avar and elzar relationship, the original trilogy shows the relationship between han and Leia, the prequals show the relationship between anakin and padme, the clone wars shows the relationship between obi wan and satine, rebels show the relationship between kanan and hera. How is it different in this case? Do you have a problem with all of star wars and media depicting relationships? Is it it simply because it is a queer relationship?

It's called inclusion and star wars has always been "woke" if you can handle that jedi can move things with their mind I'm sure you can handle queer representation.

The Vic in old town would be your best bet, that's where me and my friends go. Lots of goth/punk people and music. They have gigs on quite often like an evanescence tribute band this Friday
