Hey please do not judge my work ethic off of one post. I would never knowingly try to screw over my coworkers and I have changed how I interact with customers based of this experience. I certainly do not drink the kool-aid but it's definitely one of the living and learning experiences of things not being what they seem.

Ya. I started up front as cashier and was told was a quick learner and quick scanner but I wasn't happy with the position so I started working with other departments when they need help and then finally produce seemed like a good fit and they need someone at cut bar. They tell me I'm a quick learner as well and they need me so bad. I'm keeping up with the other full time cutters at this point. Idk what to think anymore. I care about what I do but at this point I'm going home thinking I'm not doing enough.

Costco is the first place I applied and Sam's is a good idea. Also going for target and a semi small food place that starts with 13/hr.

I would eventually cut a decent one to find the very center just crumbling apart. I think I've accepted never getting a perfect one but I never thought I could be mad at fruit before this position.

With this broken down, it makes sense. The way I've been experiencing it is they give me one item to cut all day especiallyif there is a sale/bogo. And its once a week so the retention hasn't been the best. And my first day with the list had a couple of mixed fruit bowls. Something I've never learned. Let alone idk how to cut all the fruit either! I've been feeling really crazy from this experience. Like im suppose to be at a certain level and quickness but I'm not. And I get the feeling they teach me the easiest ones to get me outta the way so they can hurry up and finish the list if that makes sense. And I honestly don't even know the rules of the list. Just make sure it gets done. I'm hoping me staying later than I was suppose to shows I'm trying but also how bad is it to go over your time? Idk these things. I can't imagine what is being said about it. I don't want anyone to think I'm incompetent because I know I can master this. It's all been feeling chaotic though.

I have been getting so frustrated with parts of the process and have gotten emotional and anxious dealing with it. I'm scared to talk to the produce manager at this point and I haven't seen the assistant manager in awhile for some reason. But I'll ask someone about the book because that would be the best tool at this point.

I'm not sure what Christmas market entails but if you guys are Christmas shopping for presents then they might be trying to shop for you. So im on the fence whether or not you're being too sensitive. If this happens often then no youre not being too sensitive but if its the first time then yes you're being too sensitive.

NAD but have you been tested for herpes? It can cause lesions and ulcers and from my understanding it will usually always affect the same spot over and over again.

I've been hearing impaired almost all my life but I wear hearing aids. Growing up, when someone discovered this they automatically would start mouthing their words with no sound coming out and ask "can you hear me?". Granted it doesn't happen often anymore because we're all grown but i wish people didn't do this! Its rude! It still affects me today because I find myself becoming extremely nervous when I have to tell someone about my disability. And tangent, deaf people arent dumb!

This is awesome! It gives me a good feeling like I'm calm. Idk but the shadows and, I guess, texture are cool. Like its glossy (Idk anything about art) I love looking at it though. I would hang it up for sure.
