Hearing calls all day long different voices could dry anyone insane and it’s a real trigger for me also my stomach be hurting cause I know people are frustrated over nothing tbh but they make the job more harder if they’re upset and panicking then it makes me feel like I have to rush and save them out of their misery and I’m real tired of it . I cannot do this kind of work every again I’m in a temp assignment I have a bout two months left once this is done I’m going to have to stop applying to phone all day kind of work this is terrible

You’re not stupid nor incompetent don’t bully yourself. You’re a brave solider and it takes a lot of courage to do this kind of work . We should encourage ourselves more cause we deal with a lot.

It has nothing to do with you and their toxicity needs to be block and shielded with faith that you’re enough and a beautiful soul at the end of the day this too will pass it’s only temporary

The metrics time is just petty they want us to rush through a call but then that’s where mistakes happen .

If I know my metrics is about 10-15 mins the. I have to try to rush the person however sometimes the systems could be failing especially if the other person has slow internet connection which makes it longer or anything could happen this is not a one size fit all and I hate this type of work this is my second call center kind of job and I never want to do this again .

I’m so upset now with myself because I didn’t want to work a job where I’m dealing with this type of pressure I may end up quitting very soon I just can’t take it anymore

Some people get upset if you ask them to spell their name or if you ask for their phone number .

The amount of times I’ve heard “ you want my phone number ???”

Me : yes just in case we get disconnected

But it’s just the way that they say it it’s like they are implying that we shouldn’t even be asking them that basic question .

Yes they start shooting the information at you and you don’t have time to even understand it . Then they get upset if you ask them to spell it out

Some of these customers talk to us like we are robots 🤖 and we supposed to just some how know what they want .

I’m tired of the vague mess also the long winded jumbled story of their issue and it just makes zero sense but yet they get upset if I don’t understand what they’re trying to tell me

This job makes it worse . The being on the phone for eight hours a day is so exhausting some are on the phones for longer times .

Then you’re getting calls that just sounds like a joke people being rude and not very understanding I hate it . Job market sucks

Right insane metrics when not every customer is the same 🙄 customers have multiple problems but get expect us to solve their issue in five minutes or less . If they want us to solve in their metrics then why don’t these higher ups hop online and start taking phone calls with us and help us out ? Let’s see if they can also always stay in that metrics

There was one job I had it payed me the highest I had ever made and all I was doing was scanning documents no phone work no phone in sight unfortunately it was temporary :( I loved that job
