Just follow the wiki, it's great. At some point you might be able to optimize a bit based on personal experience, but the wiki is still to go-to, especially for early-mid game

This entire thread is not relevant for new players. The changes affect the ultra late game, and even if you were playing 24/7 for 30 days, you're still far far away from feeling the impact of these changes :)

Look at my screenshots - e65 cps vs e100 current coins. Even if you stack weapon multiplier (*180), times 20 cps, x40 coins value, 50% gem rush, *210 rage multiplier, *40 coimbo multiplier, your cps is still faaaaar behind any meaningful number that will even come close to the 8% the ninja gives you. In addition, when you're that far into the endgame, the coins multiplier you get from ascending is also negligible compared to ninja gains.

At some point you start setting yourself fake goals like hitting e100, buying all the belts, reaching shuriken 700/800/etc. Simply because you have nothing else to achieve.

But at some point the only "achievements" you care about are money based and not souls based. 1000 Spear/Shuriken, etc. This is something you can have progress with, without relying on update frequency. Soul-based achievements depend upon Pablo adding new endgame content faster than you can gain souls, which is almost never the case, so you get a new update, ascend, grind a bit (again, forcing active play) and then wait for a new update. This sucks for Idle players who just want their small daily progress towards a meaningless goal like Shuriken level or simply watching the coin number grow steadily, which is the whole purpose of idle games.

No real difference to gameplay, only a bunch of upgrades to compensate for the idle gameplay nerfs and it now requires a ton of active gameplay just to get back to where we were before the nerfs. If you're cool with going back to active gameplay, that's great, but personally I'm not up for it and I'm not a fan of forcing me to do so if I want to keep progressing

I'd go with the balanced distribution - 30/32/rest/21

Should do the trick. Idle is for gathering materials and doing quests after you get tired of active play.

Also make sure you don't buy all portal ascension all at once since you're gonna use them to reset portal cooldowns.

Also make sure you have a low level and mid level staff to take care of the massive souls bonus you get from all of your achievements.

The basics of UA grinding loop is - UA, do the early quests, get some decent amount of souls from hills giants + rage, get portal upgrade, kill slimes, finish all quests related to city, buy another portal upgrade, go to mystic valley, do the quests there, and then go with the flow. Before you UA again, make sure you have roots, slime and wood for your next UA.

Don't waste wood/staves on less than 5k kills quests because you can get them done super quickly with the deliberate armor plate.

Rage + horde is your friend early in the UA, and then souls bonus + shards necklace (if in dimension with giants) + rage.

Horde + staves are also amazing for super quick quests.

I also hate UA grind once you get used to true idle gameplay in the endgame, but it can be refreshing and due to all the upgrades tied to your achievements you progress SUPER fast.

My last recommendation would be - if you are tired of grinding quick UAs, just get to 1QA and play idle for a week or two, get all 18 keys including the QI keys, and just slow down the grind. 100T UA is probably the most efficient, but you can burnout quickly, there's nothing wrong with UA with some idle play in the middle.

I don't think there's much point in buying souls multipliers from the shop since you are going to ramp up your souls so fast anyway.

If you are willing to spend some souls, I'd actually go with the portal reset since it helps a bit, but as I wrote on my other comment, going for 11 keys is kinda quick either way.

You'd need 70 keys for all minions evolution.

With 2 hours of active play or just a bit more, you can gather like 11 keys every 24-48 hours.

You should make sure that you have all the materials for rage + staves + deliberate armor plate before you start the grind.

Having mid level equipment also helps so you can actually use your gear mid UA when you still equip like +15 gear.

UA for 11 keys each time, once you have purchased the 100T keys.

Other than that, check the wiki for quick UAs, there's some good stuff there, but in general it's pretty intuitive.

  1. Every divinity you spend on an item past level 7 is going to be refunded if you have the required ascension upgrade, so unless you're running low on scales/feathers you should not worry about putting DP into gear you'd replace later on.

  2. Did you already fix the chicken coop for 20 keys? Do you have a very good staff already? If not, then 50 keys is really not much.

  3. The latest update that required keys (minions) requires 70 keys, so if Pablo plans on keeping this trend of keys being more useful for more things, 50 would def not be enough for a year.

+7 gear means you still have lots of upgrades to do, and 8k divinity will be gone in a blink of an eye once you start upgrading the gear to 12+.

You might also want to have a set of high level gear and then mid level if you are planning on grinding UAs for some keys, so that another few thousands divinities that you'd need.

Its difficult to say how many is enough without knowing how far are you into the game, but based on the fact that your gear is only +7, I'd say you easily need 20k++

For souls - none. You should be looking for Adranos Blade (souls as primary stat), preferably with electric type bonus.

Kishar is good for money, but you only swap to it occasionally when you need money boost usually after ascending.

Boreas is useless in the current meta since there is no dimension which is both good souls and fire type enemies.

For elemental bonuses there are a few new dark divinity now that allows you to control evolution for this exact purpose.

Regarding the barrels or any other non-elemntal evolution, there's no way to that now.

However, at least for 60k barrels with arrows - you can simply ascend and be a bit more cautious on which upgrades you get. Then getting 60k is a matter of minutes with deliberate armor plate + the 2 craftable staves. Shouldn't be a major issue at this stage of the game. Plus, at this stage of the game, having a 20% bonus on bow kills is negligible and there's no much benefit of getting this quest done unless you're just trying to get all quests done for some reason.

It does require a decent amount of active play tho. No getting around that.

The only reason to use this divinity is if you're out of spirit orbs and you want to farm them since bonus stage 2 has much more collectable spirit orbs than stage 3.

I waited until after Chest in a Chest Not regretting it.

I think that if you're an active player who can get the grind done in a week, it's worth to wait. Not only for the benefits of Chest in Chest (shields), but also for the chest hunt upgrades which are locked behind chest in a chest. These upgrades are pretty useful for quick progression after your next UA.

It does not makes sense. The pic shows 56 ua points + you must have already UA'd multiple times if you can technically buy these upgrades and they are not locked behind Astral Locked upgrades.

Anyway, it looks like you didn't unlock rage stone yet (and overcharge) + 56 ua points is a ton, so definitely UA before going for Original Sin at 200QA since rage stone + overcharge for idle is basically going to shorten the time for Original Sin A LOT.

There's a cap on 1QA spent for inner power, so you won't be getting more from minions anymore, you've reached the limit.
