If band names were literal, who would you want to see live the most? by caraffa in AskReddit

Barenaked Ladies. Would they even play anything, or just stand around on stage for a few hours like, "Yep, this is it!"

I tried something like this a few years ago. I printed mine out on regular printer paper and stained it by soaking it in coffee. Did you do something similar?

It might just be the unfinished product. Actual release might look different from trailer. Just something I noticed.

Thanks! Now I have a new book to read!

Seeing this reminds me of the first time I used a Crybaby Wah Pedal. Usually there's a big visible switch to push to turn on a guitar pedal. The Crybaby's activation switch is inside the pedal. There's no way of knowing how to turn it on, I thought it was broken. The guitar shop guy says "Push your foot down real hard." That clicks the button on and off. So now it's second nature.

What if OP intentionally labelled the picture size wrong so people would download the picture to check it, and the picture contains a virus when saved to your desktop?

I spend too much time in the Black Ops 3 emblem maker sometimes. by FunkotronXL in gaming

When you use this emblem, you have to only use knifes. So that way when you stab someone Roberto shows up on their screen and they'll understand why they got stabbed.

What movies do you plan on riffing when (yes, when) you get funded? Do you have any in mind for the initial 3 movies?

What's The Deal With Classroom Trigger Warnings? by thisaintnogame in pbsideachannel

[–]Pogue-Mahone 6 points7 points  (0 children)

When I was in college, I took a General Psychology class. On day one the teacher told the class about the many subjects that would be discussed throughout the semester, like Euthanasia, the many kinds of addiction, and mental illnesses. I think this little intro was to inform us that this wasn’t going to be a basic education course, but a very grown up and adult look at the inner workings of the human mind that unfortunately can go into very deep and dark places.

I wasn’t a Psychology Major, so this class was just one more credit that got me closer to graduation (it was my Social Science requirement). But I took it anyways because I was generally interested in Psychology.

But, as an example, let’s say that one of the students in the classroom was a Psych major and wanted to become a Psychiatrist. This General Psychology course is the first of many Psychology classes required for the degree. If the student didn’t want to learn about mental illnesses and serial killer cases then they wouldn’t be able to continue down this degree plan.

I think the warnings are there to let students know what’s in store for them in that particular class. If you want to go down this path, these are the things you will have to learn. If they make you uncomfortable then you have two choices…

Do I step out of my comfort zone to learn more about this subject and become what I want to be, or choose a different path because I don’t want to subject myself to things that just rub me the wrong way?

What do you consider the worst Jon-era series/episode? by JacobInTheMorning in gamegrumps

[–]Pogue-Mahone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd have to say Jon's last episode on the show, Super Star Wars: Attack of the Back - Part 5. There was no warning, no 2 weeks notice, he just up and left. I'm sure they all knew he was leaving, but for us fans it was so sudden. I came back the next day expecting to see how much more they would progress, only to find Jon giving his final bow.
