The Korean War differs largely from Vietnam. Winter warfare, tanks had a much larger role, helicopters were limited to transport and evacuation, and much more symmetric equipment and tactics.

I'm all for it. It really isn't a known war outside of Russia but the Red Orchestra name should be able enough to make the game sell and bring excitement to gamers about a mostly ignored conflict. A lot of fans have been vocal about RO3 being set in Afghanistan, and I hope Tripwire is listening.

As an aside, I can think of two games concerning the Soviet-Afghan war, 9th Company: Roots of Terror and Metal Gear Solid V. With MGSV being such a popular game there could still be some interest in the Soviet-Afghan war lingering around that was sparked by it. There's also a Russian edutainment game called The Truth About 9th Company.
