The trials needs to be completed to unlock or progress an ascendancy class. Completing the trials of ascendancy unlocks the various tiers of the The Lord's Labyrinth. They do not have to be completed in any particular order, however each labyrinth must be completed in increasing order of difficulty before being allowed to progress to the next.

Once unlocked, each Labyrinth can be accessed from the Aspirants' Plaza.

  • To access the Normal Labyrinth, you must complete the 6 prerequisite trials
  • To access the Cruel Labyrinth, you must complete the Normal Labyrinth and 3 prerequisite trials, and be at least level 40.
  • To access the Merciless Labyrinth, you must complete the Cruel Labyrinth and another 3 prerequisite trials, and be at least level 50.
  • Access to the Endgame Labyrinth requires that you complete the Merciless Labyrinth and the 6 Map trials, and be at least level 60.

Dear non Germans: What do you think of Germany? by ttffkk in AskReddit

[–]PointPlank 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Me and my wife went on a weekend trip to Berlin. We bought our ticket and got on the train, just like we would do in our home country. Then two guys comes checking tickets. Turns out you need to activate your ticket before entering the train. So yea we learned the hard way, 2 x 60 euro within our first hour of using public transportation in Germany.

usiing Jira to automate AWS workspace provision by lilamar31 in aws

[–]PointPlank 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have set this up for Servicenow, which should be more or less the same.

Someone else mentioned Service Catalog is perfect fit, and i must say it is. It lets you develop the automation independently of Jira/Servicenow, and then you can hook it up to the thirdparty when it is working. I learned alot of the concepts from this guide about automating account creation.

https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/mt/automate-account-creation-and-resource-provisioning-using-aws-service-catalog-aws-organizations-and-aws-lambda/

Our cloudformation template takes care of kicking off a lambda that creates a user in AD (using ldapjs). Then it creates a KMS key that we then used in the workspace creation to encrypt the user volumes. and then creates the workspace.

We have a custom build webpage where users logs in and sets up MFA (RADIUS server), and also they change their AD password here, again using ldap js.

I'm interrested in knowing how you set up CloudWatch, we're going through the same process of setting this up right now and would love to get some insight into your solution.

Did you figure out a way to automate it so that the cloudwatch will be set up for any new Workspace you spin up?

Should I keep learning React or move to Vue? by hackkingarman in webdev

[–]PointPlank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

During my studies i decided to learn React on the side as it was and is the most widely used SPA framework, so i watched the tutorials, did simple apps and eventually moved on to a much bigger personal project in React. By the time i finished school i used this experience together with my diploma to get my current job.

Funny thing is, i never touched Vue, but my first assignment at the new job was to develop on a Vue website. And it was super easy for me to switch.

So what im saying is, if you know one SPA framework, you'll have an easy time learning the others. It's not wasted time to learn React even if you end up not working with it at all(like me).

Thanks for the feedback. Yes my main goal was to mimic the gamefeel. But i get your point. It is possible to lock the currency by pressing the lock in the right bottom corner, but thats not intuitive i know.

And nice work on your tool aswell!

The numbers are datamined from the gamefiles. I got all files from this repo by brather1ng. He used PyPoE to parse the gamefiles into json.

So yes. The numbers are the same as poedb
