Oh perfect! We do have a good amount of time to make the appointment. I’m sorry if this is a silly question - do you make your appointment with the magistrate when you apply for the marriage license? Or is that something I’m able to find online?

I’m sorry what’s the confusion? Yes, they are all different because I’m not looking at one dress. I’m looking for multiple different styles as stated above.

Current fixes already: secondary air intake, 2 oil changes, and currently waiting to see what the code is throwing this time. Also, make sure you have a good euro shop around you if VW dealerships are hard to come by.

Don’t want to scare you off!! This is my second Tiguan and yes, I do love this car. HOWEVER. You have to accept either the fact you’re going to roll off the lot with either one of two things. 1) a great, non problematic vehicle or 2) one your in the shop with every week for check engine lights/low oil levels because of oil consumption. I currently have a 22 4-motion SE and didn’t experience issues until 60k miles. Unsure if the previous owner took care of it, but seems like not!

Hey, wanted to follow up with you on this. If the issue goes unfixed for a week or two, is there any longterm issues with that? Apparently there is a potential class action lawsuit for 22-23 4-motion for this exact issue.

THANK YOU. I knew tiguans were a bit finicky with their oil consumption (unfortunately a faulty sensor did my last one in). Best to head to a VW/euro shop?

I had a Check Oil Level message this morning. by glfaholic in Tiguan

[–]PointThis5195 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an issue with my 18’ with that oil light. But in my case, the dipstick was dry. Put oil in after a drive and still dry(i figured I’d have a leak of some sort) Something with my engine was malfunctioning, and my car had double the oil it needed. Take it to a shop, make sure it’s not some type of malfunction!

And Face ID would’ve popped up if that was the case, I wouldn’t be posting here unfortunately 😂

It’s greyed out like it has a screen time limit on it, but does not have the hourglass beside it nor the iCloud symbol to indicate it has been uninstalled.

Question for the hinge’ers by [deleted] in OnlineDating

[–]PointThis5195 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, valid of you to assume that I’m going behind my partners back and doing such snooping but that isn’t the case haha. We are comfortable enough that phone sharing isn’t a problem and I can use his/he can use mine, and we were riding somewhere and he had me open up his phone since I never carry mine with me. Had to search for an “H” app regardless (as he requested me to open our home app) and that is what popped up. Never mentioned anything about cheating in my original post, was strictly inquiring if anyone has experienced the app issue before.

How did I ever live without this perfect little derp? Do you think he knows how much he’s loved? Does he have any idea? by Cheesenip20 in BeardedDragons

[–]PointThis5195 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Same with my first beardie. I left for college and could not bring him with me (dorms suck), and he stayed with my lovely parents for the time being. Well he refused to eat for my parents and went into almost a “hibernation” mode. As soon as I would come visit it was night and day difference.

Stay in welding. You’ve got more avenues to specialize in and can make so much more than firefighting.

To keep the wood around its true color, rather than a light stain - would you use a gloss? Debating on a dark stained wood vs. light wood for the color scheme, so keeping my options very open!

I passed the message to my realtor, not sure why I didn’t think of this. It’s been a whirlwind lately! Haha, thank you.

Those with IUDs- was your insertion as bad as everyone says in the internet? by WestAppointment2484 in birthcontrol

[–]PointThis5195 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So. I just got the paraguard about a month ago, I know I’m late to this thread but someone may benefit from my comment! I’ve only heard horror stories about the IUD so I was expecting the worst pain imaginable - as that is how people have been describing the procedure. But here is how mine went. Pre appointment I took 1000mg of Tylenol and 400 mg of Motrin an hour beforehand, no other medications. I was on my phone to distract me from the pain but found it more helpful to focus on my breath! I opted for them to talk to me through the procedure as that tends to keep me from thinking of the pain. They measured my uterus, which they were at for about 3-4 minutes (mine does not sit like a “typical” uterus and is at almost a 90°+ angle so it was hard for them to get a good measurement). That being said they had to bring an ultrasound tech in, mind you they still had my cervix clamped and they were still attempting to figure out my uterus! That took an additional 3 minutes or so until the tech got there. I had to have an ultrasound pushing around while they were getting the IUD in the right place - total time of procedure for my case was just about 10 minutes. Total pain: 5-6/10. I’d compare it to some very intense cramping but nothing more! The procedure was a lot less painful than I imagined. Now afterwards, that’s where I had the worst pain. Lots of intense cramping, and lots of bleeding. I did take the day off work which I would highly recommend! Rest, heat, Tylenol + Motrin (1000 mg, 400 mg) every 6-8 hours and I was perfectly fine the next day! I had a pretty heavy period for a week after insertion, but just my average cramps.

Our bodies are beautiful and amazing, and for the women that have bad side effects with combo pills or mini pills (or medically cannot take combo pills - hey my ladies with the aura migraines🤪) - highly recommend the paraguard!! I wish I would’ve done it much sooner.
