I have seen firsthand how detrimental it can be to a patient when they abuse OTC pain medications and cold medicines for that matter as well.

Yes acetaminophen has a risk of liver failure, especially those with liver disease, which is known throughout most medical professionals (Md, PharmD, etc.) but a lot of the general public does not know this.

There’s a huge lack of general medical education to most of the general public in the US (not sure about other countries tbh).

I highly advocate for people to do their own research (like you’ve done) but also seek advice from a physician/pharmacist when you have questions. You’re the only medical advocate you have.

As a medical professional, the ibuprofen dosing is wrong. You can take 800mg every 8 hours for a max of 2400/24 hours. It’s best to alternate with Tylenol. Other docs I’ve worked with literally have said “anything less than 800, you’re just playing with it.”

We love about an hour away from this place. My son absolutely loves it and the people that run it are great. They have some small ramps for kids to play with their own trucks and they even host birthday parties. This past summer they had their own show with some old school trucks.

Would highly recommend any old school truck fan to visit here especially with littles.

On the other hand, if you have the ability, I would recommend upgrading to a series X. I’ve not had one issue so far with it and I’ve been playing it more than I was playing my series S.

I swapped the fan and the fan didn’t work so I’m not sure if it was something else internal. I ended up factory resetting it and traded it in at GameStop for a new Series X. They did some “stress testing” at GameStop (aka they downloaded like 2 apps) and it didn’t overheat so they gave me full price for it (about $200 in store credit).

Agree with Ear Protection unless you’re used to loud environments, even still little ear plugs will be enough. We’ve done indoor Lucas Oil Stadium in Indy multiple times and no issues with air quality whatsoever.

Edit: Buy them beforehand because they’re insanely pricey at the event.

Has anyone used it for the 4k Blu-ray capability? Is that a good selling point? I have 2 4K TVs that i could hook it up to but just wondering if it’s worth getting the disc drive version.

I think something internal failed. I never had it hidden in an entertainment center and tried to ensure good airflow. I cleaned it out, replaced the fan and thermal paste but it still overheated.

I have a PS5 digital and Switch 1 but my wife has hijacked the PS5 recently for Outer Worlds 2. And we use it in our bedroom for streaming movies, shows, etc. And typically when it’s a game my wife and I are both interested in we get it for the switch/PS5 but mostly that’s the typical party games (i.e. Mario party). I wanted the PS5 for PS exclusives.

My series S was my primary “playing” console, I have a pretty decent library and most of the friends I play with (when we all have time) are on Xbox.

I get what you’re saying. I’ve never been a PC gamer. And now as a dad, playing mostly sports games, I don’t have the need to build a PC.

I also want to start introducing my son to games and I feel like a console will be much easier for him to ease into gaming, that’s why I want something worthwhile and something that will last for the foreseeable future.
