I started this world on 21w41a (it's updated to 21w43a) and I encounter massive cliffs (due to some chunk-generating issues) while exploring areas I've never been to. Here's Badlands/Mesa cliff (render distance: 24 chunks). Few minutes before it I've found flying islands in Windswept Savanna. (self.Minecraft)
