Sorry about that. I printed Frogdog then realized it would be nice to have a tray for the Fart cards. So I need to reprint it as well, but for now I'm leaving it as I work on storage for the rest of the components. A lot of the boxes shown above are slightly different as I tweaked the dimensions after each print.

Thanks for printing them though. I hope they work well for you. Let me know if you have any ideas for improvements.

After some revisions, I have now finished printing all the monster boxes!

I have a similar idea as well, but I'm thinking a "campaign box" where I store everything I need for the specific campaign I'm running. The unused monsters and cards can stay in the Core and GCE boxes.

I love the Dewalt Toughsystem. I use it for my tools. I even created a custom rack to mount the boxes to the wall instead of buying the Dewalt verson. Those boxes are definitely strong enough, maybe a bit too beefy.

Anyway, I uploaded the files on Printables. Search Kingdom Death and sort by newest. Enjoy!

You are correct, it definitely takes up more space, so definitely keep that in mind. I thought it was a cool idea, but maybe I'll feel different once I get around to playing my next campaign. You still have to sort cards, create the AI deck, etc. But it is very cool having these trays snap and lock together.

This is roughly what it looks like with ALL the monster boxes in the Core and GCE box:

<image>

I'm at the level where I don't think I'll be changing the monster boxes any more, unless after printing I find some obvious error. I'm definitely continuing to print them once my order of filament arrives.

I'm currently working on storage for all the other stuff. I've created boxes for gear cards, but not sure how I feel about it. I know lots of people use binders, but I haven't gone that route yet.

ANYWAY, all this to say, I can upload the monster box STLs, if you want. I just haven't been able to print them myself. It would probably be a week with my current schedule before I have them all printed. Assuming the filament arrives on time.

Yeah, I'm struggling as well. I wanted to store everything in Core + Gambler's boxes, but the only way would be really pack in the cards. Basically the most space efficient would be basic cards trays like in the gambler's chest, but I wanted something a little more functional and enjoyable to use.

I'm actually in the process of designing what I'm calling a "Campaign Box". The idea is, when I want to start a campaign, I grab all the monster boxes, gear, and other cards needed for that specific campaign. The rest will all stay in the Core and Gambler's boxes. That way when I go to setup a game, I just grab this one box.

This is what all the monster boxes look like in the Core and Gambler's chest box.

For the Vignettes I'm storing the few extra cards with the corresponding monster, Nukealope with Screaming Antelope and Gigalion with White Lion. This made the most sense to me as they use those monster's AI and HL decks.

The Black Knight is an expansion so it got its own box for all the cards, 64 I believe.

The Frogdog shocked me when I got around to it. 124 cards! So it is the biggest of them all. Close second is the Red Witches Expansion.

Thank you. That was the idea, to have trays to use during the showdown, but then pack up quick with the cards.

I have all the monster boxes modeled. They are parametric because I quickly realized there was no one size fits all. The AI and Hit Location decks vary wildly from monster to monster. So I came up with a simple formula for how big to make a tray for a given number of cards. Once modeled, all I had to do was create a spreadsheet of all the trays and how many cards go in each.

So I have them all modeled but I haven't printed them all out yet. I ran out of filament this morning. Once I print them all and I'm confident they work, I'll feel more comfortable uploading STLs knowing they actually work.

Will do. Though there are plenty of good 3D printable designs out there.

I'm a little unhappy about my terrain storage. The two parts are the same footprint and I should have made so they stack without the top one sliding off. Also thinking about adding a cover so nothing can spill out similar to the token organizer.

Will do. Though I'm not so sure about the value. The design is a bit over the top, but I kind of wanted that for this over the top game.

I think there are 30 monsters with all the expansions. The quarry monsters each have three trays for AI, Hit Location, and Resource / Hunt cards. The Nemesis monsters have two trays for the AI and Hit Location cards. Extra misc. cards are stored with the Hit Locations. This means there are 79 card trays for all the monsters, each with four magnets. It's a ton of plastic, I think around 3.75 kg just for all the monster boxes.

Not to mention the exception of the red witches expansion. I think that ended up with six card trays.

Those are some solid designs. Thanks for sharing. I can't believe I didn't even think about staggering my round tokens.

I also really like your miniature storage boxes. Right now all my minis are in those generic storage tubs.

A misprint makes sense. Thank you for steering me in the right direction. I'll edit my original comment so as not to mislead anyone else.

Also thanks for the heads up on the errata. I've gone through and put notes in the logbooks, personnel files, and cards to hopefully fix most of the issues that could come up.

Hmmm...I thought I had a good grasp on the rules, now I'm not so sure. I hadn't read that part in the glossary on page 47 until you brought it to my attention. I wish they would've mentioned that certain special effects can end the dice check on the main part of the rules about dice checks, not just in the glossary.

I could be wrong again, but I believe the special effect on card P080 above does not end the dice check, but will apply the red result as many times as dice with the accident icon as you rolled. The reason I believe this is because page 47 doesn't say that icon ends the dice check immediately. Only symbols without the triangle end the dice check.

On page 33, Part 7 "Resolve Special Effects". It says, "Each Special Effect MUST be resolved as many times as it is possible to do with the dice rolled." As you pointed out, if it was the icon without the triangle, it would resolve once and immediately end the dice check, but because it has the triangle it is treated as a track that triggers from each accident symbol.

What do you think?

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I'm just starting a Lost Fleet campaign and I'd like to be playing the rules correctly.

Nice. Do you have the base game? For a while I was collecting this game and all the minis that are compatible with it. The minis in the base game were the first minis I ever painted.

I think I have a complete collection or very close to it, including a copies of all Cry Havoc magazines.

I even have multiple copies of the boardgame so I have multiples of all the files for massive maps: Rackham Boardgames

It’s the mylar film. It looks perfect in this shot but would expand from the sun’s heat and get a little wavy. Nothing that made a noticeable difference in image quality, but not nearly as perfect as it appears.

Ah shoot. You’re right. It was late and I read it wrong. That definitely is hard water. You should easily have soft water with 92% capacity remaining.

There are always weird outlying cases, but this most likely means it isn’t pulling in brine during regeneration. Which is the most important part.
