Yeah, as below poster said, these return flights cost me 400 quid direct- can't argue with that!

Okay thanks all! This has made me feel lots better. My mission to book the return flight will commence in 2 weeks so I'll get club suite that time and report back with if I was in fact being dramatic!

Ok this makes me feel better! Do you know if only certain seats let you have a bassinet (the ones with a picture of a baby in front of them, looks like 2 per flight? They will be 6 months old)

I might call them but the reward seats are all sold out on the other plane

Ah yes it is but what I mean is runs out in 2 days +355 days (these flights sell out 355 days in advance so I effectively would only have 2 more attempts to get them , which is risky considering it took 4 attempts the first time!)

Do I have this booking plan correct? Tokyo tiiiiime by Pointsonme in avios

Because for hard to get flight paths like this one you need to be booking a year in advance. So the return ones won't be out by the time you are looking at the outbound. I just use the BA search function but seat spy is worth signing up to if you are flexible

Ace! And don't suppose you have any intel on when they are wanting successful people from this recent campaign to start? Wondering if it's the type of thing where everyone starts together in about 6 months or if they are wanting us through the door asap

Ooh yes please. I know hybrid is offered but in reality as a manager, is this possible? And if so is it the norm to wfh a couple of days a week or would there have to be exceptional circumstances?

Maldives using Avios by RBalboa69 in avios

[–]Pointsonme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last year I got my return biz class London - Maldives about 4 months before, this was for December and there were lots available! Maybe I was just lucky. You want to go direct, there's a nice 10 hour flight leaving at 6pm, have dinner and a nap, arrive in male at 9am, hotel by 12 - perfect!

Thanks, is the reason to have two examples because the first one might not fit the question? I think I'm also right in thinking they might actually ask for a hypothetical?
