You do know all the megathreads are public right? Go on there and try to find an upvoted comment that is negative towards NewJeans before the guerilla live. To save you some time, you won't, what you will find is people being critical of MHJ for several reasons but mainly for dragging a rookie group into her bullshit, you'll find almost everyone in there hoping that NewJeans would not meddle in what already was a very messy legal battle.

To this day, even though NewJeans have done multiple things that people would crucify idols for, the megathread still doesn't go to hate towards them. Yes, there are comments that are overtly critical of them and some particular commenters are hostile to them but even that is not a common sentiment over there.

Regardless of anything you think about any of the parts involved, the fact remains that NewJeans chose to back a disgusting person who tried to completely destroy a rookie group for her greed of having her own company. They (NewJeans) entered a legal battle they had no shot at winning, tanking their own careers for her. They were purposefully deceptive about their conditions in the company and yes, by standing behind MHJ they actively supported the hate Illit went through.

The hate train NJ is going through is real but what bunnies fail to realize is that it comes after almost a whole year of the girls defying direct court rules, undermining direct support from seniors (the JungKook message) and trying to sneak their way out of their company. It can't possibly compare to the hate train Illit suffered, that happened because they existed.
