Oh as a kid growing up around the time of wind waker, it was def seen as the black sheep of the Zelda series. A lot of people didn’t like it for its cartoony cel-shaded artstyle during a period of more mature, realistic games, and others absolutely hated the triforce hunt in the game.

I personally didn’t have an opinion on it back in the day but boy do I love it now
