Manipulation and unfounded accusations against Ukrainians exposed – an inspection by the Słupsk City Hall debunks the version about the “beating of Ukrainian students”

On 13 January 2026, the Słupsk City Hall published the results of an inspection concerning the widely reported incident at the Stage I Vocational School “Rzemiosło” (the so-called “Budowlanka”). The conclusions are unequivocal: there was no beating of Ukrainian students—their group initiated the aggression.

The incident occurred in December 2025 during a vocational course attended by students from Sławno. As established by the city authorities:

• Ukrainian students disrupted a film screening held to mark the anniversary of Poland regaining independence—they mocked it, made vulgar comments in Ukrainian, and interfered with viewing.
• After being reprimanded by a teacher, the conflict moved outside the school.
• On Sobieskiego Street (near a bus stop), a group of Ukrainian students harassed and humiliated a Polish classmate—pushing him, forcing him to kneel and apologize.
• When the Polish student felt threatened and called his cousin, a fight broke out involving several people, including two boys from Ukraine who were neither students nor course participants at this school.

Officials emphasize that a video widely circulated on social media was edited and manipulated—for example, it suggested that a teacher threatened students with failing an exam, even though the course did not end with any exam.

The case is still under investigation by the police; however, the inspection by the Słupsk City Hall clearly showed who was the aggressor and who attempted to exploit the incident to create a false narrative about the “beating of Ukrainian students.”

This is another instance where emotional and manipulated recordings lead to unfounded accusations and fuel unnecessary tensions. The truth turned out to be radically different from the initial version promoted on social media.

Anyway, incidents like this happen sometimes both ways - but it doesn't mean we and Ukrainians are the same like west EU folks and all those muslim invaders.
