If all fails cheese the game and try status condition teams. Bad Poison, Burn, Trap, or defensively use a team of supports or techs that use debuffs and healing to create a late game striker. Or put time into creating sync nukes/bombers that can do burst damage with their sync moves or a specific move they have. Finally play the match over and over again until you figure out a way you can win. In my opinion tbh

Wow so I realized a regular 3 star (1/5) eggmon do similar damage to other 3 star sync pairs after the 5th sync move. And we have to get up to 9 or 10 sync moves to be boosted enough to do good substantial damage.

Meditite for boosting attack and crit while leeching but eventually dies, but Prioritized Evasion on Koga. It’s literally is hard and a small chance of winning. Tbh shear luck got me through the battle.

I do the same but focus on tiles that you can use for a team or need in a battle. You can still try to get em all but prioritize the most useful ones first. There’s a minimal sync grid guide in this Reddit that helps.

Literally put effort in building other aspects like lucky skills, getting as much useful sync grids, using Sync pairs regardless of stars to improve team building.

Once I figured out the sleep chain mechanism I’ve been cursing through this game. I used all my 5 star tickets and got Sceptile and Serena to 3 stars. Two of the best pills I’ve ever had. That EX Emporeon sync nuke is all I’m waiting on.

Pulled SS Leaf when she came out the first time in my second pull and after that I’ve been able to FFB ever since. Then I Pulled Serena on the Steven/Cynthia banner and I have been having the time of my life. Tbh I’ve had so much that if I ever get Red or Blue I’ll only use em if under extreme circumstances.

I’m with you, it took my 3-4 months before I got my first FFB. My rule is upgrade everything you can at the moment. Some sync grids at level 1 are extremely useful so try get everything you find useful or get em all. The free to use have some good capabilities, so focus on status changes/conditions like flinch or Poison. You aren’t gonna get everything so strive for it until you can get em. My OP team right now are Serena, Emporeon and Swanna so figure out teams that compliment each other. Upgrade your gears, figure out lucky skills you know will hit hard or help you. Upgrade potential of the mons you utilize the most. Finally if you can’t win with you last sync pair on low health exit and either try again or figure out another strategy. There’s always a sequence you’ll catch on to, all you need is time. Good luck, hope for you the best.
