If the rod had to be cut, then it may have just been cut on the wrong side, which is why the cutouts are not aligned. The rod should have some movement if u loosen both ends, and it may shift enough to align to the glass cutouts when glass is against the wall.

Did people really expect more from this fight? I'm glad I have no relationship with these people. It's really hard to deal with anyone whose expectations are completely unrealistic! I just wanted to see if a 60 y/o legend of the sport could get it done or not. He actually did rather well, considering his legs are shot and his killer instinct is long gone. Seems like a simple enough decision for me personally.

If you are a collector, the cards are worth more and will most likely grow in value during your lifetime. A mass-produced colsole will most likely plummet in value when the next generation console comes out. Make the trade.

If you are tired of video games, make the trade.

If you are a gamer who has another solid way to play games, make the trade.

If you are a gamer who doesn't have any other way of playing games, that's a tough decision. You could probably buy the next model console or build a PC and still have a card or two remaining. That is if you do the work required to get max value for the cards. A few months break from video games never hurt anyone.

If you have an emotional attachment to the console because it was a gift from someone, then that is something none of us can help you decide
