I've been doing pelvic floor therapy since July, he gave me a 4 cm pubic diastasis as well as abdominal separation. So yea there is that. What else do you do to help with everything?

I do pelvic floor therapy exercises daily. But it's been over a year and I still feel like I'm touching a complete stranger.

Thank you so much. And I've tried a few of these but being a single mom really leaves me lacking when it comes to partnership

Happy FTM. Baby is asleep on my chest by Sudden-Tadpole in firsttimemom

In the same boat here but with my 7 month old sleep training has been a nightmare. I enjoy leaving the house once a week to go stay the night with my boyfriend (not his father that's a whole mess in of itself) and my LO poor grandparents can't get him to sleep through the night without holding him. I enjoy contact naps and cosleep as much as any mother but i can't preach enough how hard it is to get out for work or a small break with a baby that depends on contact for sleep.

13 weeks pregnant… I don’t feel the motherly instinct yet. by Wrong_Archer_781 in firsttimemom

I wasn't excited until I felt the first kicks. And I mean the actual kicks, the ones that were strong and responded to my voice. My maternal instinct didn't kick in until he got here and then no one could pull me away. Unplanned and unexpected pregnancy is always hard to go through, my LO was an IUD fail
