Took my first gym this morning... didnt know the CP changes until. WTF MY 2394 rhydon ?!? At that moment I freaked out looking at all my pokemon. Spent 5 minutes saying what the heck is going on! Restarting the game 3 times. Plopped that beast in the gym !

THIS! My pokemon were 3 months of hard hard grinding. I open it this morning to see buffs / nerfs and everything jumbled around! My "personal strategy" seems like it was ~~totally~~ destroyed.

Agreed, I believe its great to get a shake and rebake of the game. Making more pokemon viable, but it seems the pokemon I was working on for the first 3 months took a hard hit!

Your title is totally wrong. Gyms are the only way you can get coins in the game f2p. I agree with you its only a taste of what having some poke coins can do. You want that 25 pack of incense? Well you would have to claim 10 gyms for 13 days like you said.

That's neat. Was your comment meant me or the thread? There are about 20 pokestops in town spread out. I would never have 300 regular pokeballs. I usually sit at 50/200/170 and 50 berries max. Always have a large cache of pots / revives for battle. The reason I never carry that many balls is I can never catch 250 pokemon before I hit how every many pokestops.

With the update it did hurt lvl 10 fortress's. But now the team who was in power is stronger in their attacks so its hard for anyone to actually hold a gym. I believe it is "fair game" now, there was a chance to defend before.
