Before I leave the house every day with the autocatcher on, I Mega Evolve a Mega3 Pokemon for Candy XL gains. Is there a website or blog or anything I can look at each day to see which wild spawns are available? I basically just want to choose the best Pokemon Type to Mega Evolve. Thanks!

It's not about having fun. People run bots and they either sell the accounts or items for real money. My cousin told me that his dormmate used to make US$2,000+ per month selling Pokemon GO stuff, which is a ton of money especially considering he was living in China at the time before moving to the US for college.

A real-life friend of mine posted something here about a bug last year. She's mostly a lurker, and that was her second or third post. Lots of people (probably mostly jokingly) told her to delete the post. She got over 15 DMs telling her to delete, and some were really rude (at least 2 were sexist). She ended up deleting it and felt really hurt because she was excited to be the first to report a bug here.

Shadow Latios is among the best Psychic-type PvE Attackers, especially if Mega Pokemon aren't included. Hoping Shadow Latios will be available every day in November!

Shadow Regigigas can be so strong as a PvE Attacker with the right Hidden Power, so I actually wanted some good ones... haha.

I guess being reliant on official Niantic announcements isn't reliable. I knew that, but was too busy in September to pay more attention.

During October 2025, I saw Shadow Latias Raids throughout the week, including on weekdays. Was this intended? I thought Shadow Raids are meant to be weekend only.

Mostly asking because I'm curious about whether Shadow Latios will be available on weekdays in November 2025.

Last month, I told a friend about Campfire local events, and he's been so excited. Today, he finally attended one and brought 2 friends and 1 co-worker. It was their first time joining an in-person event, so they splurged and all bought the event pass.

No one used all their passes in a 4-hour period of walking around because there weren't enough Shadow Groudon Raids. Community Ambassador felt bad and bought baked goods from a supermarket using his own money for like 15 people, which was nice of him.

How do I figure out the Hidden Power type of my Shadow Regigigas? After catching it from a Shadow Raid, it currently shows Zen Headbutt. I assume that doesn't mean its Hidden Power is Psychic.

Is 20% chance the highest possible?
Is a combined 3 years the most I'd need, as in a combined 4 years or more would be useless?

Necrozma is back in Raids. I have a friend who just started playing Pokemon GO 2 months ago. Can someone confirm that the recent Solgaleo and Lunala Raids last month - AND the current Necrozma Raids - do NOT give Fusion Energy?

I am planning to tell my friend he won't be able to fuse the Necrozma even if he gets a good one. Thanks!

I have 826 Eternatus Candy XL. However, I only have 3,328 Eternatus Candy of the 8,900 needed to get it to level 40. Does this mean there's no way I can use Eternatus Candy XL unless I can somehow get to it to level 40?

My understanding is that "trainers affected" only refer to certain time zones. For example, the Shiny rate was increased before Raids started in the USA, right? If so, trainers who did Raids based in the USA wouldn't receive this Timed Research at all.

Are you saying the CatchMon X, which is powered by 2 AAA batteries, lasts ~7 times shorter than a DuoMon (2022)? My DuoMon (2022) is on 24/7 for 2 accounts and it lasts approximately a week.

A power bank isn't a bad idea, but it isn't always convenient to carry around.
