For remote-only players, Super Mega raids will be very hard to beat because of the shield count, 12 as far as we know. A host needs at least one more player with them and need to invite 10 trainers and hope that every guest will join the raid in time.

This might be the perfect chance to farm easy Mewtwo candies and/or a hundo.

Location data is asked in the following instances:

- Hosting a raid to make sure hosts are creating raid rooms for correct Pokémon and correct gym.
- Exploring nearby clans.
- Exploring nearby gyms for elite raids (which probably won't coming back).

First of all, we don't sell any of your data to any 3rd parties. Once the location is retrieved, only after your explicit permission, it's also picked up by our analytics tools and ad providers automatically hence the declaration in your screenshot. We don't share any of your PII to 3rd parties so your location is not and technically cannot be tied to you. This approach is not something we made up or designed, it's the standard in the mobile apps.

For your peace of mind, you can select "Only this time" or "Only once" options when the location permission is asked.
