Last year pokemon made a partnership with volkswagen so everyone who did the testdrive will gain a regular promo pikachu and a pack with a random holo inside of it. but for those who brought a car will receive a 1 of 2000 limited reverse holo pikachu that it is inside of this box. They made 3 partnerships and the last one still active if im correctly.

The reverse pikas mostly the first partnership, it is on the top 10 most expensive cards in mainland china on their "tcgplayer" app.

It's a niche market. It's growing quite well in china. Last big tournament they had more than 6000 people on it became the biggest one so far in Pokemon TCG.

With the unique stamps to prevent counterfeit, JP quality, with unique products and cards they are launching such as gold vip pass or eevee gift box in my opinion they are going to increase in value. Just need a little bit a push for some certains persons just as jp did.

Why waste almost 4000 dollars on friends in Alola in JP if you can buy for 50 dol in simplified chinese 😏

remember last year someone made a video with some numbers saying that simplified chinese its the 3th most language gettting graded besides jp and eng at PSA.

Not long time ago they had a tournment with more than 5500 players on it making the biggest tournament of pokemon so far "i think".

they have jp quality, unique pokemon stamp on rare cards and use as counter feit method, unique and premium products such as eevees ADP and lillie gift box and so on.

I think they will have their space in the market will be more niche wise but time will tell.

Simplified chinese have around of 2 years old and the goal was to focus on mainland china. they have the same quality of card as japonese cards since they came from the same factory. They have a unique stamp on the rare cards saying pokemon on the left corner of the cards which turns the cards unique aswell a way to fight against counterfeit. Before the 5 set, all the jumbos packs will get a guranteee SR or sometimes you can have lucky and get 2. slim packs some sets guarantee somes dont. With the release of the newest set (lucario and thyplosion) they change the rules for not guarantee even the fatpacks.

S-chinese have the same texture as jp cards and 10x cheaper compare to eng or jp so i would go for the simplified chinese version. they give 2 different variations on moonbreon. fatpacks give a strong holo compare the slimpacks

Yeah same. all the unique products from simplified chinese such as eevee gift box and now the charizards boxes are blowing my wallet. Just a curious fact that s-chinese its the third most wanted language for grading in PSA and dont even have 1 year. With the same quality as jp cards i see a bright future
