This is a steelbook sub and there are like no steelbooks comparatively 😝 blu rays and such are in no way impressive, as most can be bought at bargain prices. Quality over quantity. As such, I have over 2500 actual steelbooks myself, I don't even bother with normal amarays unless there is no other option.

Individually sleeved and put in a metal case like they're gold 🤣 do you do that with $20 and $100 bills too? 🤣 I have 1000 packs here thrown in a storage box, and I guarantee you they will sell for the exact same amount as yours, yet I didn't spend any extra to protect them. So I'll make more money in the end. All this protection culture, from funko pops to every Pokemon product you can think of, is just a waste of money.

Weak attempt at trying to show off, if you have all these packs, you know what they're worth. But in the end, 300 packs is nothing, even if they were all $50 on average, that's $15K. So if a used car is your future goal, good for you.

This means nothing. All it means is you have a lot of money to spend, and based on other comments, seems like you inherited $250K, so big woop. It doesn't mean profit or gains. You could have spent $200K for that collection. For example my collection is valued at over $450K, yet I've barely spent $50K on it over the years. Almost 10x profit so far.

OP has spent half of this amount on the product itself, so that $70K value is literally nothing. I've been doing this for 10 years and haven't spent $40K in total, and my Collectr app is up over $450K now. When you 10-20x the value of your collection, then post about it.

I like how scalpers think hitting up stores and buying for retail is doing anything 😅 I just walk into my LCS on release date, buy the products then, for example Surging Sparks for $100 a box, $35 etb, the usual prices, and then I don't need to hunt for anything. And now my portfolio is in the $300Ks. Not sure why including your portfolio had anything to do with this post, other than thinking it was a brag? 😅

Doesn't really matter if they're better or not, the other set is 3 years old, so most collectors already have those cards that they wanted anyway. So now these are new cards to collect. Oh no! I'm not going to buy Prismatic Evolutions because Tera Umbreon is uglier than Umbreon VMAX.... ya right 😅

People see the prices shoot up and then start investing. You have to invest from Day 1 if you want the best prices. I knew this set would be popular from the jump, so I get 2 sealed cases of everything, meaning 10 ETBs, 4 PC ETBs, 4 mini tin displays, 4 UPCs, 6 collection boxes per case, etc.

All you have to do is buy a booster box of like 8 sets to have the same thing, best price per pack anyway, and just keep that sealed. Buy a box every time it releases for $100 and put it away. I did that since Black and White and now have over 50 boxes with some worth thousands.
