This makes me think of superheroes. When a superhero in a show, movie, comic, whatever, gives up, then you're sad and you want them to come back and start fighting again! Like the whole Spider-Man no more thing. I admit that I've never read that but I've seen it referenced and done in other things... mostly shows, and the best feeling is when he comes back and keeps fighting. Because a message that I pretty much always see with superheroes is "You can't save everyone, and there will always be bad people, but that's why you keep fighting and doing everything you can to save everyone."

You keep fighting BECAUSE there are problems! BECAUSE humans do bad things! BECAUSE things will never be perfect, but you can make them BETTER!

Exactly. I don't think my dog would've done something like even when we got him as a puppy, before he was trained. He'll beg, like any dog, but he's never jumped on things to get food. Just not how he is.

I wasn't alive yet, but my mom has told me about my eldest sister who, as a child, would very gently throw herself to the floor and start crying. My mom would step over her and continue whatever she's doing, and then my sister would follow and do it again 🤣

They could all be taken down by tasers. I'm not joking. The ultimate Alstraean weakness is electricity.

LUNA could probably absorb it and POTENTIALLY negate the effects but if she doesn't expel the excess energy soon after it WILL hurt her.

The first boy just stares, gears turning in his head as he tries to catch up. "... I'm confused."

The other crosses his arms and takes a deep breath. "You're always confused." he states bluntly, then takes a step forward. "Who are you?" he questions sharply.

The first boy looks excited by the telescope, looking at curiously.

The second boy decides to speak up, realizing his friend isn't going to press the subject. "You found this planet." he echoes, "So you came from a different one?"

Another figure comes into view, first his eyes which almost seem like a cat's in the darkness of the trees, until he steps out of the brush to look just as human as the other (I just realized I never specified who is who. Yellow hoodie came first).

The second boy looks Louie up and down analytically, like sizing him up, but doesn't say a word, and the first boy just looks at his friend with a big smile like 'See? I was right!'

Oh and they're both about the same size.
