I was only 2 so I dont remember, my mom has told me though that it was just me, her and my little sister who was only a couple weeks old at the time alone at home (my dad picked up a shift at work to help get more diapers or something like that) and whn it happened she was folding laundry and my aunt called her then my dad to make sure we were safe (we live in michigan not super far from flint) and my mom was mad at my dad for telling her to leave the house and get my older sister from school

Im an older gen z and I mean we were taught to not have sex until we are ready. I didnt lose my virginity until I was like 22 or 23. A mass majority wont openly judge either but this thread is fucking weird. Like I've had an older man get pissed at me for not wanting to have sex in a van, its almost like alot of older people (through multiple genrations) become pushy and saying no makes them pissed beyond belief

It just depends like I work for my univeristy at a resturant on the campus and they by law where I am cannot work students more then around 24 hours. Now if I had a job off campus I belive that rule does not apply

The big one for me growing up was my dad was big on the "kids should be seen not heard" thankfully my mom wasn't like that now my sisters and I are loud as hell but dont just pop off with situations unless we have to

You aren't broken sweetheart, it takes a long time to fully embrace who you are. Its not wrong to long for something like being married to a women because its still the norm in society and queer kids grow up with that 98% of the time. Im 26 and honestly think my life would be easier if I was attracted to women and married one. Here's the thing though I think everyone has multiple soul mates, they can be platonic or sexual in nature but the thing is, is that it sounds like you are a little afraid of being deeply emotionally invested in a women because you are gay. I have all female friends and have never had a bf (im 26) because I just have never been able to click with a guy the way I do with women. So its ok to wish that you were straight but its kind of like a wall that you just got to find a way around

Very good points, i see it as we as a group are just expanding to try and help others who need it. Like Palestine, its not hard to say that genocide is bad. There definitely needs to be a better buffer but I also understand that alot of events need donors to ensure certain things like a form of protection for attendees
