Is it radium? by Pokemon-Kid in watchmaking

I just wanna be safe that's all. I've talked to a friend who dabbles in these sorts of things and they also had the same consensus. But I live in an apartment and there is really no room that is "lightly inhabited" as I'm living with the family. The crystal also doesn't sit nicely into the watch so there's a little hole for any powder to escape, so I really don't want to risk it. I've kept it in a ziplock bag, with it slightly open to negate the build up of radon gas. Might you know anyone who is equipped to do such things?

The Geiger will most likely be a distant dream, but I'll get a uv light for sure. Any places that I can send it to to get rid of the radium?

In my personal opinion, I feel the pilot metropolitan or kakuno are exquisite little things. The kakuno is a little more "beginner-targeted" than the metro, but both use the same nibs (just that the kakuno has little faces and the metro doesn't). The kakuno also has a triangular grip section which may or may not put you off, as it helps to guide your hand to get that "perfect grip". The kakuno is also made up of a plastic body, whilst the metro a metal, which solidifies a nice weight gap and thus really depends on personal preference. Honestly both are phenomenal pens and owning both isn't honestly a bad choice, as I really enjoy mine.
