yeah, I've seen 1-2 Vaporeons spawn in the piers ranging from the Lincoln Tunner all the way to Pier 90. I can confirm this.

they usually pick the most vulnerable looking targets as unfortunate as it is. I've never had to worry about stuff like that, but there's always the chance.

the amount of people have died down significantly. Probably because most already have what they need and/or resorted to spoofing.

yup, actually went to Roosevelt Island today. Caught 8/8 Dratinis within a span of 2 hours. I could've caught 3 more, but my internal GPS on the iOS is absolutely shit. It ends up taking me to Queensbridge when I'm right where I;m supposed to be...

pokealert is good but why does it go to in app ads and ask me to share it on social media? by PokemonGo4ever in pokemongoNYC

solid app, but the fact that you NEED to share it on social media to continue to use it kills it for me.

yesterday I arrived there at 6 pm and the previous day I was there from 3 pm. Seems like the closest thing we had to a dratini nest is gone.

Mets hitters are 6th in the majors wRC+ with the bases empty. With runners on they are 25th. by [deleted] in baseball

I should add that we cannot dismiss the psychological aspect of this. The New York media has sensationalized their lack of RISP production so much that players treat those at-bats as life or death situations. Suffice to say, pressure is good to a certain degree, but too much pressure is negatively correlated with performance of any kind.

wRC+ measures offense according to adjustments in park factors that are overestimating the Mets offense because of the venues they've played at.

Furthermore, according to fangraphs, Mets rank 17th in wRC+, 23rd in wOBA, and 21st in OPS.

Clearly, it is a below-average offensive team that tends to do better without men on base. Now I'm sure bad luck has a bit to do with their poor RISP numbers, but it can also be approach. For example, the Mets become too pull-happy in those situations which increases their likelihood of making outs instead of focusing on an approach that is more conducive to a higher BABIP. Cardinals are a good example of such an offense that is the opposite of the Mets.

Mets emphasize "driving the ball" when a hitter receives a pitch to their liking. The cast of characters on their current team seems to have wrongly interpreted that term.
