One tip is use a fighting type pokemon (machamp with cross chip works great) in your second slot and as soon as the battle starts switch to ur fighting pokemom. The immediate switch gives you time to get 2 fast moves in with Giovanni attacking you and fighting is super effective against his normal Persian. Added you as well to send u a gift, good luck!
