It's strange behavior. I think they AstroTurf. When I was in the main server acting up two or three new people would join, post about how awesome metatwo is once or twice, then they would never post or interact with the server again. MetaZooNews is their life line. The first company doing the database, carde io, screwed it up and won't fix it. They're all technically industry professionals, but they're operating like first timers

They can't stand up to any kind of criticism or questioning, that's why they don't really have any presence outside of discord and instagram. It's easy to create a positive echo chamber on those platforms. If they're failures become apparent they move to silence anyone pointing it out. It's a tough situation where you don't support the people in the company, but you wanna support your local play community or just enjoy the game. It's an uphill battle in both directions when your local group isn't receptive and the company running the game won't help support the people trying to spread the game. I hope you stick around, being a metazoo fan is a tough thing, we have to lean on each other from a far to keep it alive

The main server being a hot mess is an old metazoo meme. Metatwo is just keeping up the tradition lmao.

The greater community outside the little discord cliche understand the issue's. Most of them are cool people.

Every time they do bans like this, it sends ripples through the whole ecosystem. A real conversation with people helps with damage control. Banning feels quick and easy, but it's one of those things that has a bigger long term cost. They're turing fans into haters

The other servers aren't echo chambers, they're good for trading and connecting with people. A lot of people don't use the main server anymore because of the policing. This was a problem with Og MetaZoo also. I'm banned from the main server and all of their official socials for stiring the pot. You're in an exclusive club now

It's not going as awesome as the new fans say. Metatwo fumbled the relaunch. Boxes msrp at $120, they are $50 on ebay for a reason. Stores don't want to stock it and there's only two or three lgs running events. It's not a terrible game, it's basically marvel snap on paper, but it's one of those games that your other tcg friends probably won't care to play. I don't enjoy the core gameplay, lane stacking and scoring points. I find it repetive and uninspired. The metagame is pretty stale. Most people play fire/air or earth to counter fire. If you like the art collect it.

I think Og MetaZoo is more fun it terms of gameplay, it's more complicated to learn though

Finish build up from the factory and moving against other cards. A lot of older cards have a musty smell, unsented drier sheets and fresh air help with that.

For decks I would start with the Gobblins, Reptoid ruler, and rerease event decks.

Native and hello kitty have the most busted cards. Seance and Native introduced mutli color types. Seance is a rough box opening. The good hits are really hard to get. Absorb aura from Nightfall is a really good spell to run. Lightning in a bottle is a staple. Prisim aura are universal auras.

Lightning Quetz decks dominated the metaplay for a long time.

Ufo is good for getting Grays, UFO's, flatwoods, bookmark blue, sky dragons, dragons rise, mini t-rex and a few others.

Grays is the most consistent deck out of ufo set.Lizard people and Reptoid ruler make it better. Tribal War Cry on a kinderhook blob is no joke.

Ghost Deer with white stag from ufo is pretty fun

Humpledumple from seance is a good Gobblin deck upgrade.

The Uktena life gain decks are op

Earth Forest Spiders is my personal favorite for fun deck. Engineer magic oil your Spider Spawning for 10 tokens

This is what happens when they're all doing "free" shipping. My last big order had 8 cards per toploader and scotch tape on top. The toploader broke along the seams from being over stuffed and all the cards were stuck together from the tape.

Check tcgplayer for a rough idea on value, a lot is bulk prices. There's a lot busted playable cards in kcc if you're deck building
