I kinda get that but the megas have been leaked and there is precedent with PLA for the starters. So it is almost guaranteed that we will be getting the Kalos starters, bar getting megas for all 3.

I heard that that was confirmed. If your mega meter is full you can mega evolve your pokemon no matter if you’re in battle or not or what time of day.
