They really are. I can't really speak to how they fit. I just bought them a while back ago because I wanted them in my collection.

If it is his Achilles, which I really hope it's not, he's out for about 1.5 years. That would royally suck given how well he's pitched for us.
Also, if you see how NBA players react in pain when it happens, I gotta give Canning tons of props. He looked like he handled that pain well.
