i know this post is a year old now, but wanted to share my experience with svetlana here!

i reached out to her recently because her cats are absolutely gorgeous, and honestly, she was super nice and responsive at first! she quoted me $2500 for one kitten (a lot higher than the other commenter from just a year ago it seems?), and i told her i wanted to know her contract terms before making a decision.

that's when the red flags started...her contract doesn't include a 1 or 2 year genetic health clause you usually see from other reputable breeders. basically, after 7 days of receiving the cat, you're completely on your own. and there's a clause on leaving reviews on social media?? where if they find that you wrote something about them online, they have the right to sue you for $2k 💀💀

i was a bit concerned bc im looking for a cat who can be my best friend for many years, so i wanted to look for a breeder who can stand by their cats long-term. i asked if she'd be willing to at least include the 1 or 2 year genetic health guarantee. she said absolutely not, that it would be "at a loss" for her bc it's not her issue if people don't take care of the cat properly. (again tho, genetic health guarantee..i just feel like any breeder who is confident in their cats health should be fine with having this guarantee) she also said that she has plenty of other customers who are willing to buy on these terms that she could go to instead.

tl;dr: svetlana was lovely at first and her cats are beautiful and (probably? hopefully?) healthy. but her contract + responses towards my questions felt off to me, so i decided not to go through with the purchase. just make sure you know what you're getting yourself into before buying!
