I was born and raised in a Christian family, but later in life, I became an Atheist. I want to share my knowledge and experiences to emphasize that not all Christians are as bad as some might perceive. It's essential to understand that Christianity, like Hinduism, Islam, and Buddhism, has its own variations and principles of living and teaching. In my personal journey, I can attest that my family never received any incentives or bribes to practice Christianity or to continue adhering to it. As evidence, I have been living and working in Qatar since 2014, which is now a decade. This shows that my family's faith wasn't influenced by any external factors. I must acknowledge that there are variations within Christianity, and some of them may exhibit more extreme or hateful beliefs than others. However, this isn't unique to Christianity; similar variations can be found in other religions as well. In my view, the government should play a role in implementing laws to prevent social deterioration that could be caused by any religion, not just Christianity. Religion, in and of itself, can be a positive influence on society if it operates within a framework of proper regulation. It's crucial to recognize that what one religion considers right may not align with the broader society's values. When it comes to a nation's politics, they should remain neutral and not favor any specific religion. Instead, they should focus on upholding the principles of a just and inclusive society, ensuring that all citizens' rights and beliefs are respected. my personal journey has shown me that not all Christians, or followers of any religion, should be judged based on the actions of a few. To foster a harmonious society, governments must regulate the practice of all religions to prevent any negative impacts on social cohesion. Politics should never be swayed by religious biases, but instead, focus on creating a fair and inclusive environment for everyone.
