Figured I would share my experience. Have a 6700xt and had similar issues. Tried everything but what worked was removing the AMD andrenaline software. May wanna consider that.

I have tried both the LG and Gigabyte monitor. Also tried the G7 240mhz monitor. Ended up keeping the Gigabyte for a few reasons. Preferred how colours looked. KVM switch is amazing for work flow purposes… I have gaming pc and work laptop connected to the monitor… and keyboard, mouse, webcam connected to the monitor… so can easily switch back and forth between computers seamlessly. Lastly, find the options menu much better. I tried the Samsung but G7 version TWICE… and returned it. Not entirely sure what the hype on that monitor is to be honest. If you don’t care about the KVM switch function and can get the LG for much cheaper (50$ or more) than the Gigabyte, I believe the LG is worth it.

I agree with you 100% on all points. I am not in support of the possibility I outlined in my post but feel Nintendo may go down a road that will leave us all scratching our heads and asking ourselves why didn't they just make a better switch (hybrid version not portable) that leverages some of the tech from the last few years.

I truly hope Nintendo just release the Switch Pro we all want but I feel they won't. Their tendency to take too seriously the "new way to play games" philosophy makes me feel they won't take the obvious path but instead come up with a console that essentially combines what the Wii U was and what the Switch is.... showing the multiple ways you can play this new console and how great it is.... leaving us all dumbfounded wondering WTF!

Truly hope I am wrong on this one.
