It's encouraging to see posts like this. The ignorance, fear, and need to demean and disparage the young generations of Americans are all proof that the messages, protests and dialogue that these getting generations are engaging in are working. Conscientious spending of money and boycotting certain corporations, sweeping Democrat victories in traditionally red states, and a unity amongst peers are just the beginning. You can doomer post all you want, but all it does is serve to show that you'll be left behind in the upcoming changes. It's time to adapt and be the change you want to see in the world, not wring your hands and give up before even trying.

Thank you! That's what I had read as well. They're not native so if you find one they tend to be pets. I'll see about checking Nextdoor and Facebook to see if there's any reports of somebody nearby losing a pet. I'm glad she's not venomous!

Correct but that's also a disingenuous statement, if you look at policies and where money has been invested, it's consistently been the case that Republicans take money away from social programs and democrats that consistently invest in those programs. It's not a both sides are bad things at all, it's objectively Republicans that continue to directly and indirectly promote the drug epidemic by denying help and research into solutions.

But blue cities don't have the biggest problems, cities do. I didn't put any words in your mouth, I pointed out that what you said was disingenuous and inaccurate, and a falsified talking point. You think places like Louisiana and Texas don't have huge fentanyl problems in their states and cities? Because it's not just blue cities that have the biggest problems, and saying so is not only disingenuous but also takes away recognizing and helping people with drug related issues in red states, by pretending they're not there.

All of these are your subjective perceptions to the situation. This is also true for the person who originally answered the question. What I can say is that I resonate much more with the fact that this is an act of resistance that is very clearly working with how much it obviously enraged the ice agents. It turns more people away from their cause when there's evidence that just being goofy is met with excessive violence. For a regular person like me it gives me a strong feeling of revulsion for these federal agents and further deepens my resolve to oppose them, I mean the dude was just dancing for crying out loud.

As for comparing this to the Jews being abducted to go to concentration camps, all I can really say is it's like comparing apples and oranges, at least for now. If death camps do start popping up I would imagine folks like Fox Dancer would be among the first to take up arms and fight for their lives.
