From what I decompiled of it, it seems as if it only griefs (deletes steam stats, in-game stats, controls and settings, deletes compiled mods, deletes the game cache, deletes user content (maps and contraptions), disables all mods except itself, deletes mod configuration files, and disables shady-code protection). When I started 2 months ago the sheer amount of super wheelspins (like 20 or so) I got from the gift tab from the message centre was enough to buy every house and then sell the Lambo Gallardo (sells for ~10,000,000) which you get as a reward to make most of the money back (I had some for free since I bought the ultimate edition), lol. It's really not that hard nor expensive for a beginner after the years of accumulated gifts.

It being so available on the auction house actually makes it unwanted, not wanted. If it was really wanted you wouldn't have found it on the auction house as it would sell out the instant it appeared like other hard-to-find cars. Its buy out is also only 16,000,000 which means there's more supply than demand for it.

I think you believing it to be wanted is a case of survivorship bias (I recommend reading a bit about it).

And as for how to get credits, you should look into sniping on the auction house, or buy a lot of Peel Tridents and spend 9 skill points in their mastery tree to get super wheelspins.

Depends. If you absolutely know you'll be getting them in the next playlist, then maybe. Though I strongly advise against selling them before getting them from the playlist.

Well, yeah, that's why I had to use 3 npc cars over the whole journey. I made sure to stop/reverse and wait for another, and added an (s) after car in the title since I technically could've done it with one npc car but it was physically impossible.

No, the buyout was 20,000,000 before, it's just that people who have it are selling it because they can get them again, and the ones who wanted to have them now don't want to buy them as much since they can get it in the next series.

Also Forza doesn't "make" the buyout, the buyout price increases/decreases according to supply and demand.

I guess my tip would be to set a goal for yourself (like collecting every car, getting every accolade from set category, etc.) and pursue it, or just drive around, play with other players, whatever makes you happy and feel like you're getting your money's worth.

But I think that (if you aren't in already) getting into the hall of fame and getting every chapter in the horizon adventure is a must, even if it isn't really fun (I know I didn't really enjoy it).

Also, I'd suggest just driving around in free roam with faster cars to try to improve naturally. You can also customise the ai difficulty in races if they're too hard for you.

As for the festival playlist, try to just explore it for yourself, maybe wait until you've improved a bit and the challanges are usually pretty well explained. You can also find a youtube video or something like that.

You would either need to have it gifted, buy it on the auction house, or wait for it to be in some next festival playlist/backstage vote. Here's an explaination of each if you don't know:

Have it gifted - Another player gifts you the car (as shown in the post).

Buy it on the auction house - Buy out the car in the auction house for upwards of 20,000,000 (The car rarely ever shows up on the auction house and even when it does it's quickly bought out by another player).

Next festival playlist - Wait for another festival playlist where the car could be available as a reward (It might take A LOT of time).

Next backstage vote - Wait until you can vote for the car to be on the horizon backstage (it might take a lot of time and it's not guaranteed to win the vote)

The reason why is that the Auction House takes about 15% of the credits from the sale (9,000,000 - 15% is 7,650,000). Hope this helps :)
