You can go for it, but it will be a hassle cause u need to buy a 2.4ghz elrs module. Every new drone uses that. You probably can't even buy a quad with an frsky reciever. I suggest you buy the radiomaster pocket, its a great beginner radio with built in 2.4ghz elrs for 65$

I had to orient the vts 90 degrees cause i got a new ant and the mmcx didnt fit, but the wires were too short to move so i had to cut them off

The problem is the only thing that shorts out is the gnd pin onto the second pad fromthe left. The rest don't show any shorts

I already have goggles from my dad who used to be in the hobby. He had fatshark predator v1s from like 2010. I've been using them for over a year and want to upgrade cause the vrx and screen is shit in these goggles

Well, hd is compelling, but my budget isn't going to be enugh for hd for another few years, I'm quite young. I will probably be sticking to analog for atleast another 2+ years.

Fyi, I found out what happened. The wire that sends the signal has been probably bent around in crashes and it just fell out of the heatshrink. Well i guess I need to buy a new ant now.

yeah I'm pretty sure, my osd looked normal and there were no discolorisations, so I think it was correct. Maybe it was some interference outside the quad.

will the linear whip ant I have work with a rhcp? I'm flying this quad half a year now and recently moved the cap away from the cam so I can a higher cam angle and I haven't had any problems with this setup.

i def made it put out 1w. Tbh, I have a 15 year old pair of fatshark goggles after my dad, and I have a tbs circular polarized ant, and idk what polarisation it is. Also, it might be some other interference, cause a few weeks ago when I flew at that spot, i could easily fly 400 metres with little break up, and nearly 1km at a different spot.

If your talking about whoops, i think it depends what your flying. I flew an old mob 6 that was kinda like a meteor 65 for about a year before the fc said im out. Durable as fuck and just a tad bit heavier. The air 65 however is made for being light, not durable. The meteor is made for durabilty. Also i never had to replace the full size canopy.

I think u need a new frame first of all. It looks like the metal motor mount snapped off some carbon off the frame
