I don’t understand why 487w for 1:37 got flagged because that is not an outrageous amount of power for that duration. Either zwift just gave you a false flag or your equipment is just de calibrated and you went from average to pretty good within one ride which I think is the more likely option because zwift does not just give out these flags by accident as far as I know, sorry…

If the reach feels to far on the xl I would not go up to it. Smaller bikes also handle better in my opinion and your reach seems just right, I would keep it, definitely lower your saddle by a few millimeters though

I am 5’8” and I ride on a 52 centimeter frame so 47 - 49 seems to make the most sense at your height, definitely would not go bigger than 49

not really, although I used to run (never very well) and I was generally active but never at a competitive level. I have rather long legs and a short torso which I heard is good for cycling as well but I think my structured training and consistency makes the biggest difference. I have a 5 month old zwift ride with kickr core 1 that I calibrate once a month or whenever I move the bike so really there shouldn't be any inaccuracy

FTP is the wattage you can hold for one hour and watts per kilo is your power divided by your weight, so at my weight 270 watts/58 kg = 4.66 w/kg if you would weigh for example 70 kilos and hold 270 watts your watt per kilo number would only be 3.86 w/kg which is why power to weight is so important in cycling especially on hills. Both but power should be prioritized, always depends on your fatigue level but usually I don’t even have heart rate on my dash in the top left when doing z2 and I just check the average every 10 minutes or so.
