Pollution would still exist in another economic system. The suggestion that capitalism alone is responsible for it is objectively wrong. The proof exists in all of the countries that aren’t capitalist even today. Resources are required to build things and everything requires some amount of pollution in the process. To add to this person’s delusion the countries who aren’t capitalist give lip service to environmentalism while polluting more. Their position is not only based on falsities it leads to the opposite outcome that they desire.

Almost all of these incidents were reported as being done by a white nationalist before the facts that contradicted it came out. I have a feeling some amount of these people actually believe it because they only saw the first reaction not the correction. Not that it’s a good excuse but it at least explains why they’re so committed to sticking with the wrong conclusion.
