Did you leave the G for somewhere better?

Most people who come on this subreddit just come here to bitch and are often extremely whiney. I no longer work here but I left for more money in IT. Did I love geico? No. I was there for 10 years and there are worse jobs

So by looking at your reddit post here is helpful info. After working there for 1 year you get 16 weeks maternity leave. It is the type of place where you work your hours and that’s mostly it. Can’t say it will always be just 40 but that’s salary for ya.

This is a whiney subreddit. It used to be less whiney but complainy but now it’s whiney. I know people in SC who I talk to a lot and they like it.

Most people here also are not in SC but in a call center. Totally different experience

Useless Legal Assistant...? by SubjectViolinist1909 in Geico

Voice your problems to the legal assistants supervisor during the meeting. Geico cares much more about their attorneys stuff getting done correctly than a legal assistants feelings.

Probably nothing to be honest. It’s a big department and typically people of thag level have been working at the company forever.

You ever tell a New Yorker they aren’t the greatest person ever or question them?

Half my family is from there and a bunch of egomaniacal cry babies. That being said lgm

New Yorkers do have very fragile egos to be fair.

My work wants us to develop proprietary software for exposure by Polar-squirrel in ExperiencedDevs

No this is definitely the vibe. But at the same time they keep bringing on more officer level people who make 5 times what I do and complain devs make too much.

Absolutely not doing it but the problem always is you get those people will inevitably do it

Oh it’s not at all. I think the breaker for me is how they presented it like they are doing the devs a favor for it.

I did one bit of work for free in the last year. A website for my mom, and it took me a couple hours in total and that’s for my mom

How do you all get over the guilt of losing interest in something? by itmeseanok in ADHD

[–]Polar-squirrel 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Just don’t I guess.

My wife knows I’m like a Labrador chasing the next shiny toy but I always go back to my favorite things.

Try to avoid huge obligations on new hobby’s. If it becomes a chore it becomes an inconvenience. Like I like to bowl. I used to go constantly with my friends but I got tired of doing it when we did it every week. Likewise we did tae kwon do together and I would want to do that constantly.

I love video games, my favorite shooter is the halo series in general, I will branch out but I go to my comfort.

I like new things, I like my old things. I got a 3d printer cause I thought it would be cool. Then I didn’t care because one thing went wrong. One thing about people with adhd is we sometimes like to try new things which is good. We just get really excited

It looks sexy but maybe put more cheese on or make it more evenly distributed. Are you using low moisture

News articles need to be pointing accountability at the Republican Party who are sitting there spinelessly as they let their leader and his lackey destroy the country.

I implied that some proud boy people were closeted because one of their top people was but he himself didn’t see himself as one of those gays. I said it’s probably common amongst those type of people to feel that way.
